Andre Drummond has lost 22 pounds since the end of his freshman season at Connecticut.

Drummond now weighs 268 pounds, allowing him to have excellent lateral quickness for a player his size.

Phil Nolan gave Connecticut a verbal commitment on Thursday.

Nolan is a 6-10 forward from Milwaukee, who will compete for playing time following the departures of Andre Drummond, Michael Bradley, Alex Oriakhi and Roscoe Smith.

The Huskies will not be eligible for the postseason.

Philip Nolan, one of the top uncommitted players in the class of 2012, will sign a national letter of intent with Connecticut.

Nolan chose the Huskies over Marquette, Clemson, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Missouri.
